As we wrap up our April Awareness Month here at the United Methodist Youth Home (UMYH), we want to express our deepest gratitude for your engagement and support. Over the past few weeks, we’ve shared stories of resilience, transformation, and the incredible impact your contributions have on the lives of young people navigating challenging circumstances. From educational triumphs to personal growth, the stories we’ve highlighted underscore the power of community support and the vital role UMYH plays in providing a safe haven and a path to a brighter future.
We’ve journeyed through the stories of individuals like Lataviona, Daisa, Tay, and many others, showcasing the transformative power of our Day Education and Truancy Intervention programs. We’ve witnessed the personal growth of young people like V, Rose, and Tabitha, who have gained essential life skills and emotional resilience through our Residential and Aftercare programs. And we’ve celebrated the extraordinary achievements of individuals like Kynzie, who exemplify the potential that lies within each young person we serve.
These stories are not just milestones; they are stepping stones toward a future filled with hope and opportunity. And you, our dedicated supporters, are a crucial part of this journey.
