What a fantastic time we had at our recent Family Night! As you know, these quarterly events are a special chance for residents to invite their loved ones to campus for an evening of fun, and this one was truly memorable.
We transformed our campus into a vibrant carnival ground, bustling with laughter, friendly competition, and the delicious aroma of a summer cookout.
From classic ring toss to challenging clown toss throws, our carnival games were a huge hit! It was wonderful to see everyone’s competitive spirit shine through, with plenty of cheers and high-fives as prizes were won. Nothing beats seeing families team up and challenge each other to a friendly game.
Our cookout was a huge success, serving up classic burgers, hot dogs, and all the fixings. But one culinary creation in particular stole the show. One of our amazing young residents, a true food artist, crafted a one-of-a-kind burger masterpiece. Behold the Burger-Mustard-Mac & Cheese-Doritos creation!
It was a true testament to creative thinking and a reminder that sometimes the best recipes are the ones you invent yourself. We love seeing our residents’ personalities shine through, and this burger was a perfect example.
A special thanks to our therapy team and Johnson UMC New Harmony for hosting a great night! These moments of connection and joy are the highlight of campus.
