The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity, generosity, and community spirit here, and we’re feeling incredibly grateful! We want to take a moment to shine a spotlight on a few of the wonderful local partners who have stepped up to support our youth and our mission.
Bags of Joy from Hillside UMC
A huge thank you goes out to Hillside United Methodist Church! The amazing folks there created thoughtful and delightful “Bags of Joy” for our youth. Each bag was stuffed with goodies that are sure to bring a smile: favorite chips and candy, brand-new earbuds, fun hair accessories, and a coveted gift card.
But what truly made these bags special was the personal touch: each one included a heartfelt, handwritten note of encouragement. These notes are tangible signs of love and support, showing our youth that their community sees them, believes in them, and cares about their well-being. Thank you, Hillside UMC, for bringing so much joy—and inspiration!
Rotary at Night Shines at Our Block Party
Our recent evening block party was a massive success, and we owe a big thanks to the dedicated volunteers from the Evansville at Night Rotary Club!
Rotary members spent their afternoon with us, giving their time and energy to help setup and run the event. Their commitment to service truly made the event more fun and engaging for everyone. We appreciate their dedication to our community, even after the workday is done!
United Way Day of Caring
We were also honored to be a site for the United Way Day of Caring! We had an incredible turnout of volunteers from CenterPoint and German American Bank.
These teams spent the day tackling essential projects that help keep our facility safe and welcoming. Whether it was painting, cleaning, or sprucing up our outdoor areas, their collective effort made a massive impact that we’ll benefit from for months to come. A sincere thank you for rolling up your sleeves and investing in our space!
