We’ve had some incredible volunteers on campus recently! From sweating in the summer heat to crawling under decks to retrieve long-lost basketballs, these summer volunteers are the backbone of keeping our campus safe, beautiful, and fun.

The Blue Grass Church youth group did something truly unique this summer. They took a “local mission trip,” doing everything a traditional mission trip would entail right in their local community! They stayed and ate at their church at night, and during the day, they visited numerous nonprofits and even congregants who needed help. We are truly grateful for their help pulling weeds (to prep for laying all new mulch), and the youth were particularly excited that all their balls that found themselves under the decks were finally retrieved!
When Vowells & Schaaf, LLP step on campus for their annual volunteer afternoon, they always bring 100% effort. This year, they went above and beyond, laying an entire pallet of mulch, power-washing fences and buildings that needed some TLC, and even moving all our large exercise equipment into a storage pod in preparation for building removal and our subsequent new Health & Wellness building. Their hard work ensured campus was in tip-top shape and helped us prepare for exciting future developments—all in just a few hours.

Last but not least, McCutchanville Community Church had a few people attend our most recent summer volunteer day. While they got rained out for the outdoor work, they stepped up and helped out inside, deep cleaning all the things that often get missed, like the bathrooms, baseboards, and windows.
A huge thank you to all our dedicated volunteers! Your hard work makes a real difference. There’s still two more summer volunteer days left on Tuesday, July 15 at 2 PM and Monday, August 4 at 11am. You can sign up and join us in making an impact by clicking the link below!
