We are thrilled to share some incredible news about our recent Mentorship Campaign! Our goal was ambitious: to raise $15,000 to provide 945 hours of direct services to the youth we serve. Thanks to your overwhelming generosity, we didn’t just meet that goal- we surpassed it!
Together, we raised an astounding $16,730! This support means we can provide even more crucial direct service hours, offering youth guidance, support, and a consistent, positive adult presence in their lives.
At UMYH, we see every day how this support can transform a young person’s journey. This is evidenced by Riley who shared in our 2024 Impact Report that having someone “in their corner” makes a tremendous mental difference, and the fact that 89% of our youth report experiencing a 50% or greater decrease in their challenges after their time with us.
Every dollar you contributed directly translates into an opportuity for a young person to connect with this vital support. From the gentle guidance of a residential counselor, to the listening ear of a therapist after a tough day, or even an afternoon of ice cream and putt-putt to celebrate a milestone, your support makes these connections possible!
